The 36,000 public parking spaces available in Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest will drop to less than 16,500 due to Olympic parking regulations. Are you one of those affected? Read on.

Many local residents have complained about a lack of information from both their local authority and London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) in the wake of new parking restrictions around their homes.

A new app from Park-Up.com could come to the rescue. The company has collated information on all parking locations within the Olympic boroughs on its website, free of charge. It’s also available on a new iPhone app. Simply search on the location you want to park in and the website returns a handy map showing where you can park. There are also details of local parking enforcement and car crime statistics.

Visit Park-Up.com to find your parking space. You can also follow @ParkUpcom on Twitter.
