Local restaurant-goers may remember back in February the news that the family-run Nuovo in South Woodford had decided to close its doors after the site was bought by Tasty plc. A branch of the national Wildwood chain sprang up in its place and I visited for lunch on Sunday.

Sadly, the South Woodford Italian restaurant will close. But the good news is that the Buckhurst Hill one will stay open.
